The Air & Waste Management Association of Central New York strives to provide its members with monthly opportunities to network and exchange information.

Breakfast and dinner meetings are held on alternating months.

  • The December Breakfast meeting of the CNY Chapter of the Air & Waste Management Association will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2008, at 7:45 am. Andrew Radin, Director of Recycling and Waste Reduction at the Onondaga County Resource Recovery Agency (OCRRA) will give an update on What's New and What's on the Horizon at OCRRA. Robert Tyson, an attorney with the law firm Bond Schoeneck & King, will give a legal update.

    Breakfast meetings are free for members of the CNY A&WMA, and $10.00 for non-members (payable at the door).
    
    If you are not a member, we encourage you to become one. A local associate membership in the Central NY Chapter is only $15 per year, and you can sign up at the meeting or download the membership application online.

    The meeting will be held at the Renaissance Hotel (formerly the Marx) conference center, on the corner of Almond and East Genesee Street, Downtown Syracuse, New York beginning at 7:45 a.m.. The Renaissance Hotel (www.renaissancesyracuse.com) is the tall round hotel near the I690/I81 interchange. Directions from Highway 690 E - Merge to 81 S and get off immediately at Exit 18 - *Harrison/Adams*. Continue to Adams St. and make a U-Turn at Adams to Almond. Go through 3 stop lights and the Marx Hotel is on the right. Directions from Highway 690 W - Get off at Exit 13 *Townsend St.* and turn left onto Townsend Street. Take 1st left onto Erie Blvd. and go down 2 streets to Almond Street and take a right. Go through 3 intersections. The Renaissance Hotel will be on the left.
