Technical conference details

The 22nd Annual Joint Technical Conference of the Central New York Chapters of the Air & Waste Management Association and the American Industrial Hygiene Association will be held on March 27, 2018, at the Lodge at Welch Allyn in Skaneateles, NY.  This full day conference offers a variety of presentations on timely topics in the environmental and industrial hygiene fields, along with delicious food, scenic views, and the chance to earn mutliple PDH credits and CM points!       

CALL FOR SPONSORS AND EXHIBITORS

We are also now accepting agreements for conference exhibitors and sponsors.  We are offering luncheon, refreshment, and room sponsors this year, as well as exhibitor spaces where the morning and afternoon conference breaks occur.  Space is limited, so get your agreement in soon!  Details are included in the attached 2018 AWMA Conference Sponsor & Exhibitor Package, including pricing options.  To register as an exhibitor or sponsor, or if you have any questions or would like additional information, please contact Bill Sisco at wsisco@labellapc.com.

Student Poster Presentation and Scholarship

Students are invited to attend the technical conference, where they will have the chance to attend interesting lectures and meet scientists, hygienists, and engineers involved in all aspects of occupational, health, and environmental science.  Students are also encouraged to present a poster at the conference.  Poster abstracts will be compiled and distributed to all attendees and students will be able to present their work to local professionals. Students who present posters will be eligible to win the AIHA/AWMA Local Section Poster Scholarship.  AIHA and AWMA are each offering $500  in scholarships to the winners of the poster contest. See the attached flyer for more details. Abstracts must be received by March 15, 2018.
