Technical conference details
The 21st Annual Joint Technical Conference of the Central New York Chapters of the Air & Waste Management Association and the American Industrial Hygiene Association will be held on March 28, 2017, at the Lodge at Welch Allyn in Skaneateles, NY. This full day conference offers a variety of presentations on timely topics in the environmental and industrial hygiene fields, along with delicious food, scenic views, and the chance to earn up to 5 PDH credits! Student Poster Presentation and Scholarship
Students are invited to attend the technical conference, where they will have the chance to attend interesting lectures and meet scientists, hygienists, and engineers involved in all aspects of occupational, health, and environmental science. Students are also encouraged to present a poster at the conference. Poster abstracts will be compiled and distributed to all attendees and students will be able to present their work to local professionals. Students who present posters will be eligible to win the AIHA/AWMA Local Section Poster Scholarship. AIHA and AWMA are each offering a $500 scholarship to the winners of the poster contest.
