From lake systems to city systems, Central New York stands at the crossroads of environmental recovery and technological progress.  This conference brings together scientists, engineers, health and safety professionals, and changemakers to share solutions that build resilience, jumpstart economic prosperity, and inspire a sustainable vision across the region and beyond.

Up to six PDH credits for Professional Engineers and Geologists and six Contact Hours for CIH professionals in one day!

Our 2025 conference attracted 175 professional scientists, engineers, attorneys, regulators, government officials, and students. Click here to see last year’s program.

The day’s schedule includes Dr. Quackenbush’s keynote address in the morning followed by individual tracks of presentations. A midmorning coffee break and afternoon sundae bar are included as is a full buffet hot lunch. After the day’s events, join us in the Fireside Lounge for a cash bar and student poster awards!

Each year we welcome the next generation of environmental and safety professionals to present their research topics in our Student Poster Contest, awarding up to $1,500!

General Registration - SOLD OUT

Early bird pricing for General Registration runs through January 31, 2026, after which it increases to $175.

Government employees and retirees are welcome to register at the $75 discounted level. Active college and high school students can register at the $45 level, but thanks to the generosity of Micron, the first 10 can register for free.  Thank you Micron!
