The AWMA-CNY Chapter will host our first monthly meeting of this program year with a virtual “lunch meeting” scheduled for Tuesday, October 19, 2021. Damon Carson, Founder and President of Repurposed Materials will present “Reusing by Repurposing Byproducts and Waste of Industry.” Repurposing is the act of taking one material and using it for another purpose. When a product has reached the end of its useful life in its primary industry, that doesn’t mean it will have no other use. Rather than just tossing used materials into a landfill, repurposing is all about finding innovative ways to make use of these materials. PDH credit will NOT be offered for this presentation.
The meeting will take place via Zoom and you will be provided with a link to the meeting after your sign up. The meeting schedule will be as follows:
11:30 AM – 12:00 PM – Open Zoom Meeting Format (bring your lunch for a casual, non-structured half hour to catch up with your fellow participants).
12 – 12:05 PM – Housekeeping Announcements and Introductions
12:05 - 1:00 PM – Featured Speaker
1:00 – 1:15 PM – Time for Q&A and Additional Networking
